Joey Yung Has Ideas to Stop Scalpers
(Hong Kong February 22, 2017) While doing promotions during a radio interview, Joey Yung expressed her anger with ticket scalpers who tried to monopolise tickets for her concert in March. She said they should release the tickets to people who really wanted to see her "if they want to have a better next life". She joked that she had once considered testing the audience at the box office by making them sing five of her songs. Now, she had too many "ticket debts" and could only invite her friends to the rehearsals for compensation.
Joey revealed that she would not invite any guest performers but considered singing other singers’ songs. However, she would not sing her boyfriend Wilfred Lau’s songs because she feared that she might sing them better than he does.
She was surprised to hear that Nicholas Tse and Faye Wong were seen kissing at the airport, and she teased that she’d try to hold back and avoid kissing in public. She shared her hopes to get married before the age of 40, but she also wishes for her younger brother to get married soon and have a baby for her to play with, and she would even prepare a room at home for the child.
